Outcast Expands Direct Sales Team

Michael Mongelluzzo Named Vice President, Sales, Eastern Region; Gregory Dunn Named Director of Sales, Central Region

Santa Monica, Calif. – Sept. 10, 2009 – Outcast, a leader in the digital out-of-home industry, announced today that it has expanded its national sales team with the addition of Michael Mongelluzzo as vice president of sales, eastern region and Gregory Dunn as director of sales, central region. Mongelluzzo is a highly experienced sales and marketing professional, with a deep knowledge of local television sales, national spot television sales, internet sales and digital out-of-home sales. Dunn is recognized as a strategic sales specialist who has developed, sold and helped to implement numerous national campaigns for Fortune 1000 companies. Both will report to chief media officer Nathan Gill.

Mongelluzzo joins Outcast from NBC Universal, where he led sales for NBC’s out-of-home unit. There, he transformed the digital out-of-home arm into one of the most successful platforms within the NBC Universal portfolio by rebuilding the sales team and by instituting a new strategic framework for selling and marketing the NBC Everywhere platform. Before NBC, he was the director of business development and emerging media at WABC-TV. At WABC-TV, Mongelluzzo launched and led sales, marketing, and content for ABC’s Taxi TV platform making it one of the preeminent platforms in the digital space. Earlier in his career, he held the position of director of sales at About.com.

Dunn also joins Outcast from NBC Universal where he served as the local sales leader for the central region of NBC’s out-of-home unit. He quickly took over both local and national sales role for Chicago and grew the Midwest revenue by more than 250 percent. Prior to NBC, Dunn was the national account manager at National CineMedia where he helped to reengineer and restructure the sales and marketing process and continually exceeded his goals and overachieved against sales quota.

“We are excited to announce the expansion of our sales team with the addition of these two highly respected and seasoned media professionals,” said Gill. “As part of our joint venture with PumpTop TV we are continuing to execute on our promise to the marketplace by providing clients with a single point of contact to the largest national network of digital pump-top displays.”
