As the co-founder and CEO of Bhootan, Matthew built it into a premiere digital retail entertainment company that included an interactive network of over 1,000 screens and a mobile platform delivering over 35 million SMS messages. In 2008, Matthew integrated Bhootan and Fuelcast to create Outcast: the first digital out of home company to offer advertisers a unique opportunity to engage with on-the-go consumers.

Prior to Bhootan, Matthew held the position of Entrepreneur-in-Residence in the New Ventures Group of McDonald’s Corporation where he designed, developed and launched several successful new businesses. His successes included an ad-based in-store digital video network that expanded to several countries throughout Europe and a line of ready to heat meals marketed under the Boston Market label that is now distributed in more than 3,000 grocery stores across the US.

Matthew also has extensive private equity and investment banking experience. At Triumph Capital, Matthew led a $60 million roll-up strategy in the trade show business, And while at DLJ, Matthew raised over $1 billion of growth capital for entrepreneurial companies.

Matthew earned his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with honors. He earned his BA at Northwestern University, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a dual degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics.
